Raven Burrell, PA-C, is currently practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology at Delta Health Center in Mound Bayou, MS. She received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of California, Irvine; she has a Master in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from the University of South Florida. In August 2020, Raven obtained a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University (ATSU) in Mesa, AZ. In 2022, she was appointed Clinical Lead at Wesley Health Center and has assisted with opening two new clinics in Phoenix and on ATSU Mesa campus. She serves as Adjunct Faculty for ATSU Mesa campus, Regional Director of PA Education in Mound Bayou, MS for ATSU California PA program, and mentors pre-PA and PA students to improve the pipeline of underrepresented students of color in the PA profession. She has a passion to give back to historically marginalized and underserved communities to improve health equity and social determinants that influence health disparities in maternal mortality.
