Toyese Oyeyemi is Executive Director of Social Mission Alliance at the Fitzhugh Mullan Institute of Health Workforce Equity. He has extensive experience in health equity practice and research which has impacted national primary care policy, health workforce diversity, and social accountability in health professions education. Prior to leading the Alliance, he was Health Extension Regional Officer in New Mexico, bridging academic health center resources with the prioritized health and SDOH needs of local communities.
He is an inaugural Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Fellowship for Health Equity and dual Lecturer of Family and Community Medicine and Population Health at the University of New Mexico. He is a doctoral candidate in public health at the George Washington University.
