
Julia Mattingly
Senior Research Assistant
Julia Mattingly is a Public Policy Ph.D. Candidate at GW’s Trachtenberg School. Her research interests include rural & underserved health workforce development, medical school curriculum, clinical training, and healthcare program evaluation. She recently graduated from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, with a BA in Rural Health and Political Science. Through mentored research at UofL, Ms. Mattingly studied the factors that influence clinicians to choose to practice in rural areas, in addition to evaluating the efficacy of loan repayment programs in Kentucky.
