Grace Christensen
Student Research Assistant
Grace Christensen is currently an MPH candidate at George Washington University in the Global Health Epidemiology and Infectious Disease Control program. Grace brings a robust background in the social determinants of health and infectious disease research.
Grace’s professional experience includes three years of dedicated research in geospatial analysis, oncology, and the macroeconomics of public health. Her work in these areas has allowed her to present data-driven insights to both academic audiences and community stakeholders. In addition to her research, she has served as a community health intern at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, where she consulted on community health needs assessments, and as an advocacy intern for Mormon Women for Ethical Government, focusing on public policy and data analysis.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with an emphasis in epidemiology from Brigham Young University. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she has served as a high school rugby coach, reflecting her commitment to youth development and community leadership.
