Florence Tyler (they/them) is the Student Administrative Assistant for Social Mission Alliance. They are in their second year of study towards an MPH in Health Policy at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. They also are a research assistant at the school’s department of Health Policy and Management. They moved to D.C. after being born and raised in Texas. Working as a student community organizer there, they focused on expanding civic engagement for first-time voters through organizing registration drives, working to distribute reproductive resources in the form of information and practical assets, and training individuals on how to identify misinformation online in political and apolitical settings. They hold a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas.
