Finn Dobkin

Finn Dobkin joined the Mullan Institute as a Research Associate in August of 2022. His research interests include understanding the association between healthcare accessibility and patient costs, the role of preventive and primary care on long-term health outcomes, healthcare infrastructure in rural and remote areas, and policies to better support clinical staff. Prior to joining the Mullan Institute, he was a Research Assistant at L&M Policy Research. At L&M, he used Medicare and Medicaid claims to study pharmacy access for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries, cost savings from Medicaid 1115 waiver programs, and changes to clinician behavior under the Home Health Value Based Purchasing Model (HHVBP). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy and Administration at the George Washington Trachtenberg School of Public Policy. He holds a MPP in Public Finance from American University and a BS in Economics from the University of Puget Sound.
