Since 2012, Social Mission Alliance (formerly known as Beyond Flexner) has brought together educators, administrators, clinicians, trainees, and students to transform health profession education in pursuit of health equity. Join us as we gather for our seventh annual conference in the Spring of 2024, with our co-host Duke University School of Nursing.

The Social Mission Alliance (SMA) Conference is an opportunity for clinical educators, administrators, clinicians, trainees, and students to engage on top issues related to health equity and social justice through health professions education. Together, we will discuss topics such as the social determinants of health, community engagement, reducing inequities, workforce diversity, and value-based health care.
SMA 2024 will feature prominent keynote speakers, plenary sessions, educational sessions, student posters, networking opportunities, and more.
