About

In Los Angeles, our 8th national conference brought together 300 attendees to exchange ideas, develop actionable strategies, and build lasting connections with others in the social mission community. Our attendees came from across the world, including 30 US states, Argentina, Barbados, Canada, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, India, and Uganda.

For Us All: Transforming the Health Workforce featured 48 posters, 23 breakout presentations & workshops, 2 keynote addresses, 2 plenary panels, and 1 community panel.

We are pleased to have provided scholarship funding to 17 Social Mission Scholars and a reduced rate for all students and trainees.

All attendees could claim up to 10.25 Continuing Education (CE) credits for their participation in sessions.

Impact on the Community

Our team prioritized making a positive impact in California while we were there. To this end, we hosted a community panel accompanied by a donation blitz raised $3,000 to be distributed between My TRIBE Rise, MOMS Orange County, El Sol science and Arts Academy, and The Cambodian Family.
