Every February in the United States, we celebrate Black History Month as a nation. As the Social Mission Alliance, we also celebrate Black excellence throughout the year. With the month of February coming to a close, we are taking the time to highlight resources that will help you to continue honoring Black History year-around.
February Social Mission Champion
This month’s Social Mission Champion is Te’Kima Anthony-Bey, a Management Analyst at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where she enhances housing counseling programs via innovative policy to support underserved communities.
“My experience in the real estate industry shed light on the discrimination and steering faced by people of color, often being relegated to under-resourced communities or denied housing in certain areas altogether.”
